About Interpay
Interpay builds the retail payment software that banks and merchants across Saudi Arabia depend on: POS and SoftPOS acceptance, e-commerce gateways, payment switching and merchant services. Our products handle cardholder data under SAMA regulation and PCI security standards, and they run around the clock.
The role
Interpay's POS and e-commerce payment solutions connect to ECR software in retail stores, kiosks and e-commerce websites. As Integration Support Engineer, you'll be Interpay's technical face to partners and clients: guiding them through connecting our products to their systems, diagnosing issues and carrying each integration to go-live. It's a technical role rather than a development one. You'll succeed by reading logs and interrogating APIs, without writing code. You'll report to the DevOps Manager.
What you'll do
Partner and client integration
- Integration guidance: help partners integrate our payment solutions into their ECR software, POS terminals, kiosks and websites
- Technical support: troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout each integration
- APIs and plugins: guide third parties through API, plugin and hosted-page integrations
- 3-D Secure: support enrolment, authentication flows and failed-authentication cases
- Relationships: keep partners informed and respond to enquiries promptly
Terminal and POS integration
- Configure, deploy and troubleshoot POS terminals, including TMS operations, parameter downloads and terminal profiles
- Support ECR integration protocols over serial and TCP/IP connections
- Retrieve and interpret terminal logs to isolate configuration, connectivity and transaction faults
- Read ISO 8583 message logs to diagnose declines and response codes, and decide whether a fault sits with the partner, Interpay or the upstream host
E-commerce integration
- Support integrations with Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify and bespoke storefronts
- Guide partners through checkout flows, callbacks and webhooks, redirects and hosted pages, and refund and reversal handling
- Diagnose issues with Postman, Fiddler, Wireshark and structured log analysis
- Use basic scripting and SQL to investigate transactions and reproduce reported issues
Onboarding, go-live and documentation
- Prepare test credentials, test cards and sandbox environments for partner onboarding and UAT
- Coordinate cutover planning, production verification and post-launch monitoring
- Write integration guides, API documentation and FAQs for partners
- Build a knowledge base of recurring issues and their fixes
- Escalate defects to development with enough evidence for fast diagnosis, and keep integrations compliant with Interpay security standards
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 1–3 years in a technical support, integration or implementation role
- Working knowledge of APIs, and of POS systems or e-commerce platforms
- Reading application, terminal and transaction logs to isolate a fault
- Postman or similar API testing and debugging tools
- Basic scripting and working knowledge of SQL
- The persistence to work an issue through to root cause
- Explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical people
- Managing several partner integrations at once and keeping each moving
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Willing and eligible to work on-site in Riyadh

How we work
- Diagnostic thinking: you narrow a vague report down to a specific, evidenced cause
- Customer orientation: you keep partners confident throughout an integration, including under pressure
- Clarity: you explain a technical answer once, in writing, in a way the recipient can act on
- Ownership: you carry each integration through to go-live
- Collaboration: you translate between partners and internal engineering in both directions
- Curiosity: you keep deepening your understanding of the payment platform
Where and when
Full-time, on-site at our Riyadh office, with hands-on use of payment terminals, card readers and test cards. Occasional travel to partner or client sites within the Kingdom, and occasional work outside standard hours for cutovers and go-live windows.
